In United States criminal law, mischief is an offense against property that does not involve conversion. It typically involves any damage, defacement, alteration, or destruction of property. Common forms include vandalism, graffiti, or some other destruction or defacement of property other than arson. Governed by state law, criminal mischief is committed when a perpetrator, having no right to do so nor any reasonable ground to believe that he/she has such right, intentionally damages property of another person, intentionally participates in the destruction of property of another person, or participates in the reckless damage or destruction of property of another person.[1] Criminal mischief is usually a misdemeanor.
In computer science and hacker jargon, mischief is a form of attack that clearly indicates the breach of the system and constitutes a form of injury or an infringement of rights, more specifically invasion of privacy, against which legal action can be taken to secure damages. Grey hat hackers often use mischief as a way to signal security breaches to system administrators.
Mischief is also a way for hackers to "prove" themselves to others. As an overt demonstration to other hackers of their skill in the use of force, these security breaches can be taken as a sign of criminal intent and may result in charges as serious as terrorism.[2] In this context, terroristic threat involves a threat to commit violence (the computer attack) communicated with intent to cause significant harm, inconvenience, or injury (the resulting breach) in reckless disregard of the risk of causing such harm, inconvenience, or injury. Brute force is associated with hacker ‘mischief’

Corvette Day at Lars Andersen Auto Museum Brookline MA
Hi , I made it to the lawn show and took about 135 photos of many of the C1-c2 plus C-3 to C-6's that were present. Many are award winners. Trip was 250 miles round trip, 15.2 MPG , average speed on highways 76 mph, car ran at 3,400 to 4,000 rpms for almost 4 hours with 3.70 rear. It was great, no traffic and everybody doing 70 to 85, I did have to pass a few at 103 .........

all was well until I made a right hand turn !
Bonjour,
It was great driving into Paris until I made a turn , lost in traffic for 3 hours, so this time I will go around Paris on my way to Le Mans.

Lots of help while in France
Bonjour to all,
I had lots of help from CCF members while in France. Stephen Irons & Joan (I thought he was French until he started to speak) was very kind, and also took me to Le Mans to see the course and I drove on the public road section.
This was as close as I got to the big landmark. Lost trying to reach it. Gave up and drove to Normandie that day.

Salut Jack.

Bonjour to All,
How hard is the parking lot at Le Mans. It seems that no one goes home for extended periods of time. I have slept in my C-2. Is a C-5 more or less comfortable. More adventures for me. Any first hand tips from the peanut gallery on 4 days and night at Le Mans would be appreciated. My hosts, the Corvette Club of France , told me not to worry. And as Alfred E. Newman once said " What me worry ? " I fly off to Europe, camera , computer, phone, fast dry pants and a "sleeping bag" ?
Long back straight , speeds at 170 +
: mdr:
Many little cottages like this in the Loir Valley in France not far from Le Mans. French Finance Ministers built their summer digs like the one below. Own it today, lose your head tomorrow, and a new owner smells the roses for a little while. How 16th and 17th Century Real Estate agents worked in France at the time.
